Default Anyone running SLP Loudmouth 1 mufflers on Texas Speed True Duals?

Just curious if anyone has done this. If so, I'd love hear it. I've currently got the Texas Speed True Dual Exhaust with their bullet style mufflers. I love the sound of the SLP Loud Mouth 1 setup, so I can only imagine what the mufflers would sound like on duals.

The louder the better. The Texas Speed system is a full 3 inch, so the inlet/outlet of the mufflers needs to be 3 inches, right? I'm not even sure they make them in 3 inch.

I know it's an issue with the y-pipe/catback setup, but I don't think it would be that raspy on duals.

The Y pipe setup is prob louder because it rasps out so bad. I would imagine its deeper / cleaner

Hollo's car (the SOM T/A) has LMIIs. I ran them for a while and they sound good. A little loud but I liked them really well. I had a LMI on a catback and it was ridiculous. And the LM1 and IIs are 3" in and out. If I were doing duals again and wanted loud and still sound good. I'd do the LMIIs. Maybe even try a pair of Borlas out.

Thanks for posting up the videos guys. At one time, there was a black Trans Am on Youtube that was running the Loud Mouth 1 mufflers on his duals, but I can't seem to find the video. If I remember right, he set off a car alarm when he started it up.

Default 3" duals with slp bullet mufflers and x pipe.

I have this system on my 99 ss. TSP 3" dumped in front of the axle. if you are looking for LOUD that's a system for you.

Did you have turn-downs put on the SLP Loud Mouth 1 mufflers?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell the TSP Bullet mufflers that came with the True Duals and buy the SLP Loud Mouth 1's.

Honestly. The LMI will not be tremendously louder than a straight through bullet style muffler. You can drop a tennis ball through a 3in Dynomax bullet buffler. The packing just knocks a little of the edge off. They are still damn loud. Rasp is a non-issue with duals. To put it simply, you would basically be wasting time and money.

The thing is, the TSP True Duals used to come with Dynomax Bullets as an option, but they no longer do, and the bullet mufflers used now are a different brand. I've seen a Dynomax Bullet and the ones I have are not them. I asked Texas Speed about this when I received the duals and that's when they told me they no longer use the Dynomax Bullets. The bullets that came with mine seem to be more restrictive and have these tiny triangle looking things throughout the entire bullet.

Why not just run straight pipe? That's basically all they are, i wouldn't pay for 2 of them. I'd personally run a bullet of some kind, no use in paying $100 for a 1 foot section of pipe
