what throttle body for ls6

hi guys, I will be updating my ls1 intake to an ls6 intake and wanted to see what tb options yall went with. Is it best to just get my stock one p/p by potz or someone like that or is there an aftermarket one out there that I should look into.

For an LS6 intake just port the stock tb

thats what I was leaning towards but wasn't for sure, when I keyword searched it it didn't bring to much info so I just thought I would ask

I have a ported polished stock one on mine. but Potz speed is the place to get your poted and polished at. does really good work! I believe they are a sponsor on here.

Not anymore I don't think. But you can find tthem on eBay. Ported stock throttle body is all you need

I went with a FAST 78 TB. Mounts right up to the LS6 manifold. Not sure if there's any gains to be had vs. ported, but it looks sick and I got it cheap on eBay.

A stock ported tb will work fine. Upgrading the tb is a pointless mod unless the engine wants more air than it can flow. If you are getting vacuum under wot, you need a larger tb.
