Default FTP Clear 98 & 104 Air Lids - You asked for it - Limited Production Run!!!

FTP Clear 98 and 104mm Air Lids!!

We constantly have customers asking if we still offer the FTP 98 and 104mm clear air lids which have been out of production or over two years.

You asked for it... so we are going to do a very limited one time production run!

It will take about 3-4 weeks to get them made and once this batch is done, they will no longer be available. Orders will be processed and shipped in the order they are received.

Clear 98mm lids will be 185.00

Clear 104mm lids will be 200.00

We will offer free shipping within the continental U.S.

You car order online at our web site:

http://fasttoys.net/shop/Fast-Toys-C...-Flow-Air-Lid/

http://fasttoys.net/shop/Fast-Toys-C...-Firebird-LS1/

Warranty/Disclaimer

We stopped producing the clear air lids because of the difficulty in working with the clear plastic. It is never perfect (there are always minor flaws) and the clear glue is a lot less durable than what we use on our black air lids. We are going to offer a 90 day warranty on the clear lids against defects. If you have a defect during this period, we will either replace your air lid (if stock is available) or we will issue a refund once the defective product is returned. Typically, when the clear lids fail, it's the glue which comes loose. You can re-glue it or return it to us for a replacement/refund.

Please note that the clear plastic always has tiny imperfections. It looks good but will never be perfect. Imperfections can include tiny dust particles and/or air bubbles or other optical imperfections. The clear plastic scratches easily so you will need to be careful when cleaning. You can often polish out light scratches with ordinary car paint polish. If you are unhappy with the quality, you can return the air lid and will get a refund minus a 15.00 fee to cover the original shipping costs.

Please do not place an order unless you understand the above disclaimer. This is a one time offering!

Thanks!

Phil @ FTP

This is awesome. If I didn't just buy a new 98 I'd be all over this.

What glue did the MTI used for their clear lid? My MTI clear lid is still together surprisingly although it has a few stress cracks but it is to be expected being my car is a daily.

The current MTI clear lids are made with the same glue. I don't know what the originals used.

Tough to find oddballs sizes. Try a google search and you will find stores that just sell silicone hoses. Make sure you get the soft (non re-inforced hose) as they will stretch a bit especially if you heat them up in some hot water first. Avoid the ones for turbos as they are metal reinforced and do not stretch at all.

F'n Awesome...I finally gave up on getting a clear one and bought a BNIB black 104 from a member here about a month ago. Figures. Nice lid though...very impressed. Can I mail it in for a trade??? I haven't used it yet since I'm still buying acquiring parts for my engine build.

I don't have any pics installed but it will look very similiar to the clear MTI lids we sell that you can see on our web site.

They fit well. I've never found SLP lids to fit poorly. Usually it's just a matter of getting it to sit in the right spot to clamp it on.
