Default Does this look right? TSP y pipe welding done

Hello all, I just recently had my TSP 1 7/8" LT headers installed with a TSP catted y-pipe. I decided to have my y pipe welded together and this is how they did it. passenger side has the cat coming off the header but the drivers side has the cat near the y pipe. Is it common to have the cat this close to the y portion? My ground clearance has decreased because of where the cat's located. Thanks for the input!

Yes, that is the correct place for it. I had clearance issues with mine, the cat scraped on everything, but it looks like they use different cats now that are much smaller, so you might be ok.

Thanks for the response, when I first looked at it, I thought they screwed up bad! I was ready to go back and get them to fix it. I guess I had it in my mind that both cats are supposed to come off the headers in the same manner.

That actually looks like it's tucked up pretty nicely, especially for having cats.

Agreed. It actually looks great. That's as good as anyone will get the TSP y to fit.
