Default Can I make more power?

Mods are in sig im trying to get everything I can out of my motor with out opening my block and keeping good drivability. My main concerns are with my intake and exhaust it feels like they could be holding me back a bit. Currently im running the volant cold air kit and box but I have a flat hood (non ws6) on my car. Would it be worth it to switch the the ssra or chris13 with a lid? Also my slp lm2 sounds like *** thats besides the point but could I make more power with say the tsp texas rumbler true duals? Lastly my fast 78 I dont want to spend $1000 on the fast 90/92 setup so im thinking of getting it ported and opened to 85mm and ditching my stock tb and picking up an 85 mm tb thoughts? Would that stuff be good for another 10-20hp if I throw in a pulley as well?

I bet you get bigger gains from the pulley than opening the intake to 85mm. You can measure MAP readings to see if there is an intake restriction...at WOT you want the map to drop to ~2kpa or less of ambient air (key on, engine off) if I remember right.

Exhaust would probably have some room for improvement, especially if you hate the sound anyway. Either a large y pipe into 4" single or 3" duals all the way.

What did it make/run so far?

The car was just put together and had has only been street tuned by a local tuner whos credibility..well I wont go there but the car will be getting dynoed and tuned by Pat G next month just trying to get all my parts squared away before it gets its "final" tune. But from reading the posts above it looks like the most cost effective things would be the 3" duals/pulley/nitrous of course.

Imagine upgrading to a 92/92 and gaining nothing? lol

Id probably just leave it alone. Maybe think about the pulley, not sure if you would need a retune after a pulley swap tho.. I saw a few threads where people did the EWpump and gained nothing.

if you dont have ram air hood get that intake off. All you are doing is sucking hot air in and put the ssra on. Dont waste the money on porting the fast intake sell it and buy a 90 and up fast intake. true duals will gain a few ponies but nothing crazy and the undrive pulleys not really worth much at all. Why dont you consider some good heads too??

Nothing he can do outside of nitrous or forced induction is going to get a lot over what he has, it's about adding up the little things. He has ported heads already...it will cost a fortune for some aftermarket castings to get much better.

You already have a good foundation of heads, cam, intake, and headers. Now it's just time to tidy up the little things depending on if they're worth the cost to you.

underdrive pulley should get around 5hp, you will notice it rev quicker
duals I wouldn't be surprised to see close to 10hp, lose ground clearance
opening the intake to 85mm likely less than 5hp, maybe more if the whole intake gets properly ported (same goes for switching to a 90/92)
a good lid and ram air may or may not show hp but should be good for a tenth or so and a MPH at the track

some 4.10 gears will likely be the biggest SOTP gain and bang/buck since you have stock gears...everyone I know who went from those to 3.90s-4.10s has been very pleased

Yep, some gears will make a huge difference. You may also want to consider adding a true ram air setup like the chris1313 or SSRA.

True I didnt want to spend a fortune on aftermarket heads. I felt these where a solid foundation to get my car into the high 11's. Ill start off with gears and pulley for now and do exhaust and square away my intake setup closer to my tune date.
