Default What length bolt for th350 crank spacer?

I bought a spacer to use a th350 on my 5.3 engine. I bought it from GM with the bolts they recommended. The problem is the bolts are the same length as the old ones that hold the flex plate on. I only have 1/4" of threads to hold the spacer. That is only 4 threads. There is no way I can tighten this without stripping the crank hub.

The spacer is 10mm thick so I would expect the new bolts to be almost 10mm longer.

The bolts I bought are 11mm 1.5pitch x 23mm long shoulder to end just like the original flex plate bolts..

I figure I need 30mm long or more to equal the holding strength of the original bolts.

Does anyone know what length bolt I need?

Jegs sells the same 1" (23mm) bolts as GM.

Everyone that sells the spacers copy's and paste the same description. They all say you need longer bolts but sell you a 1" long bolt.

The manual trans uses the same 23mm long bolt.

I would like to hear from someone that has used the spacer.

Did you use GM or ARP bolts?

I found out that Chevrolet Performance advertised the wrong bolts with the spacer. I found the right bolts that are 3/16" longer at the local dealer. 19257940 is the part# for those of you that are having the same issue.
