I'm running QTP's Carsound Catted Y pipe and I have Jet Hot Long tubes. I think the Y will also fit Hooker and Pacesetter too.

Thanks BadP, I like the fit and finish of the QTP, that's what I think I will go with, I just wish they used Random Tech cats instead of Carsound........I think I've read that Carsounds aren't that great either, is that true?.........

I think the Carsounds flow great 400+cfm compared to the stock cats of 220cfm. As far as reliability I couldn't tell you. Carsound makes the Magnaflow cats and they are rumored to be of very high quality. The only difference between the Maggies @ Carsounds are that the Maggies get a shiny heat shield.

We test a bunch of cats and found the Carsound/Magnaflow to be the best. The Randoms where more money and didnt flow as well.
Random Tech Cat-327CFM
Carsound/Magnaflow-400CFm
Catco-365CFM
Stock-220CFM
Random Tech Metallic-535CFm-$$$$$$

So far with all the cat y pipes we have out there no one has called us about any cat related problems.
Any questions call us.

I ran Carsounds for 2 years and not one problem with them. They are an excellent cat that is made of stainless and are tiny.
