I've gotta give it to Eric (and Josh) at Pfadt. Always willing to help and are on top of this as we speak.

What I did to gain about a millimeter of clearance was to go ahead and loosened everything, the passenger header bolts, both V-Bands, and then loosened the starter. I stuck a skinny flat crows foot (pry bar) between what tiny gap that created. I then retorqued the starter, then the header bolts, the finally the v-bands.

That gave me literally just at or under a millimeter of clearance.

Maybe when these were fitted to a car during development it had a mini-starter, like an MSD?

Who knows. I don't mind all that much working through the issue. I'm sure we'll figure something out.

I curse the man that let an intake filter get THIS dirty and never so much as attempt to clean it.

May your soul be scorched by the heat of a thousand suns.

So has Phadt given any indication of the chances of them producing a tri-y header for the f-bodies? I'm not asking for a timeline, or pricing, just is there a chance lol.

They make nothing, absolutely nothing for F-Bodies, so that would be a big giant hell no.

I can call Eric again tomorrow and ask him. There seriously has to be a hell of a market for it though. How do we "prove" that? I don't have that answer. Even 10 orders paid in full upfront won't pay the R&D that goes into it. Remember, it took them damn near 300 attempts with the Vette headers...

One thing I'm serious about though, they are absolutely AWESOME to work with and talk to. I really can't say enough good about them.

When I was looking at a Vette, I was considering their remote reservoir coilovers. It's an Ohlins shock that they custom valve. Pricey, but very nice.

Talked with Geoff @ EPS for a while today. Have plans to be there early next week for a tune.

Just waiting on the rotors and lugs to show up...

I talked to Eric again at Pfadt for you, Alchemist. He's open to making a possible one-time run of them for the F-Bodies. He's going to check to see who has an FBody, and he's thinking actually that one of the welders has one.

So, there's hope yet

I think there is a really good chance they will start making them for F-Body's. I wish I was in their backyard. I'd have dropped my car at their shop and let them fab up a nice set of headers.

I started it and let it idle today. Well, 5 minutes ago.

Coolant never went over 154* and it was running ROUGH. I double checked everything. No hoses or sensor I didn't reconnect.

I didn't take it for a drive yet. Beer:30 was about 3 hours ago...

We'll see tomorrow I guess

Let me rephrase that.

As the temp came up, the idle went shittier and shittier.

All will be sorted tomorrow. Left about a cup of water out the tailpipes, lol

Beer 30 huh? Probably a good idea to hold off driving it until tomorrow. Ask me how I know that.

Beer:30 is my clan name as well on "Clash of Clans"

If you're not playing that game, you're a loser.

Anyway, I'm sure all she needs is to actually be DRIVEN. Should be going to Geoff's (EPS) next week. Whatever's a good day for him. We'll see what she puts down.

That's not bad to me at all.

What do the M6 Vettes normally baseline? What's a good average to go off of?

Something is definitely hurt.

P0135
P0155
P0300
P0418

The 0418 I'm not worried about as I removed the air.

The 135 and 155 are my bank one and two Sensor 1 O2 sensors, and 0300 is multiple misfires.

The car runs like GARBAGE. I mean HORRIBLE.

Did you have to extend the 02's on these headers? I would try getting new ones and then go from there if they are the originals in there. Hopefully just something simple or is unplugged
