I've heard of them but never seen a fast 78. When did they last make them lol

I had one originally on my Camaro. Replaced the LS6 with it, then eventually a 92. Again, the 78 is a great intake as well... Power is in the runners, not the size of the TB. Never had it dyno'd with the 78 but I definitely felt a bit of a "punch" in the midrange. Cured that "flat spot" I had around 4500.

they are old prob the first size... but work great. i noticed the extra bump... with 243 ls2 heads and 02-04 z06 cam on my 1998, going from the LS1 to FAST 78 i gained a solid 9-10 whp and 9-10wtq thru the entire RPM. this is pretty much exactly the same results or maybe 1-2whp/tq more than a LS6. but the FAST intake really is designed for high rpms... pretty much race app heads/cam. i wouldn't really waste my money on anything more than a LS6 intake really for a mild cam.

you will need to buy button head bolts as the stock hex bolts will NOT clear the bottom of a FAST intake... you will crack the intake if you tq it down with hex bolts. there are several write ups for this i would imagine. also, you will need the a newer style /ls6 coolant line and rear block offs.
