Are you a auto or six speed? Some people have broken 10bolts at stock power levels while others run into the low 10's and faster. Alot depends how how the car has been maintained and how its been driven. Big stalls and high rpm launch on sticky tires tends to destroy 10 bolts

I'd let Martin @ www.tickperformance.com spec the cam. He can also give you more help on rest of your set-up VS. a generic kit such as the Trickflow setup.

10 bolts seem to last longer with a auto trans but they can break at any moment IMO

Yes, your rear end can handle that setup however the answer to "how long" is the unknown. Whether it works for one hard launch or 100, the time will come where it will be an issue.

I have the same problem and it sucks just knowing I'm sitting on a time bomb!

I refuse to take my car to the track just because I know the rear is going to go. A 9 inch will be the next thing I get for my z.

Its basically luck of the draw, I am making 430whp in my 3300lb Monte on a stock 7.5 10bolt. But I have a disability since I have a 26spline rear vs you Fbody guys with the 28spline and I am a 6 speed car as well. I don't power shift or dump the clutch being abusive but that doesn't mean I don't baby the car either. I also run 18x9.5 rear wheels with 275/35-18 Nitto NT-05's so there is some traction available as well.

Its not a matter if will it, but when.

Depends on your intentions for the car. Daily driver yes you will be fine if that is all you are going with H/C/I on a otherwise stock car. I know because I can speak from experience not just internet talk. Just like anything its how well you maintain it/ to what level you abuse it before it breaks
