How are sw headers vs American racing headers

Default How are sw headers vs American racing headers

I'm wanting to go with long tube headers but want to go with arh or sw what is the difference in the two which ones will give me better performance and Quality should I go with hi flow cats or y pipe will I lose hp if I go with hi flow cats and if I go y pipe will It get really loud and smell gas fumes and should I get 1/34 or 1/78 inch couse I have Slp loud mouth 1 on it and will I feel a pretty big gain btw my camaro ss is a4

ARH is often touted as the best, I have the 1 7/8" kooks race headers and love them. Perfect fit.

I would highly recommend those as well.

I have Stainless Works headers. No complaints here. I've never seen ARH, so I can't elaborate on them.

I have ARH an love them there quality pieces and fit perfect... Kook are also a great header

I prefer ARH over the other two here. I like the velocity style collector that they use.

1 7/8" for sure. ARH if your going y-pipe.....Kooks if your leaning toward TDs as they sell a bolt-on over the axle system. Hi-flo cats aren't going to cost you much power if any at all.

I also have ARH and they fit so nice.....
Fit better then factory stuff....

Ok sounds good guys arh it is now once I have them put on will I have to tighten the bolts like every so often I here that you have to tighten them like every. 50 miles or so and what kind of hp can I expect if I go arh and dyno tune as well

25-30whp shouldnt be out of the question with a good tune, i would wait until you do all your bolt ons tho before getting a tune. also you should only have to tighten the bolts once after a few good heat cycles and they should be good after that no more needed
