I wouldn't waste my time or money on converting it to an LS6 system. They still have blow by and won't fix the problem of oil into the intake. With a D1 get a dual CC from Rx performance or the saikou michi. Those are the two best on the market.

um, no.

This is the best of the market. You can actually open them up and clean them instead of buying a new one. Well worth the extra cash.

^^ damn, that is a 24 carat CC for sure. I haven't heard of any guys haveing to replace the two I listed from failure though so I'm sure it's a small rate. As long as your not getting blow-by I can't see spending over double the price....especially when both companys will warranty any broken CC's.

I'd stick with either the Rx Performance or the Saikou Michi, they're proven performers. IMO, the Radium dual CC look like a work of art, but that doesn't necessarily make it a better CC.

On a Blown FI LS1 motor its "Best" to get a LS6 vally cover, run that port to a PCV valve and check valve, to a PCV non vented catch can, and a good one not a POS, whats the sence if the catch can doesnt trap the oil/oil vapors etc, then run your valve cover ports to a vented breather can, you want a decient size one with a 3" breather on top rememeber you are venting both valve covers to one breather so u need a decient size. Also not all breather catch cans are made =, the ones i use have a built in baffel system so no oil splater dirtys the breather filter

Quick Reply: catch can or ls6 pvc for d1 setup?
