exhaust shipping advice

hello everyone, I need your help... i have had a few people PM me about a loud mouth exhaust I have for sale. the problem is shipping seems ridiculously expensive! any ideas??(besides the obvious answer of only offering it locally)

Got quoted $150 for a muffler and tips from ups one time. Ended up selling it locally.

Mark it and cut it up. It's only exhaust and can be rewelded. That or sale local.

Cut it in an area that will allow for one to use a TorcTite "butt" clamp to seal it back up.

That and use USPS (Post Office). I've personally shipped wheels and tires and USPS was by far the cheapest for me.

I just shipped my catback through fedex for 42 bucks hell of a lot better than ups for 100+ for a muffler

Yeah UPS can go screw themselves....they tried to charge me some ridiculous price even though their site told me a different amount. FedEx was much more reasonable.

Was that through FedEx Freight or just regular FedEx? Seems like freight would be super cheap due to the low weight of the box (relative to it's size).
