Does anyone know if it is possible to port your throttle body yourself? If so, is there a write up on it anywhere? How much hp is it worth?

I did, there are, dunno.

Think ls1howto.com had a writeup and if you searched
right here for "home port TB" you would probably turn
up plenty. Maybe even dyno before / after info.

Does anyone have a document or how-to on home porting a throttle body?

I just did mine tonight. It wasn't that bad. A dremel tool with the coarse sanding wheel(get at least a dozen) and away you go! I also trimed the bar in half and cut the screws on the backside. I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make, but every little bit helps.
