90mm TB. Hell no the LS1/6 rail won't fit. It's made for the LS2. Do you see any long-line-dimple going across for the fuel rail?

If this is indeed LS6 runners with a 90mm TB, Dorman is gonna have issues keeping it in stock. Even the guys with stock LS2 intakes (HORRIBLE RUNNERS) will be chucking theirs in the trash.

I thought that I read somewhere that Dorman was using the old FAST 78 lowers for their bottom sections?

They are. They bought the rights to utilize the lower mold.

Comparing that picture to the dorman ls6 intake, there is a dimple that looks exactly like the ls6. I think I read somewhere that they wanted to use the exact same design just with a 90mm TB opening. It would be great to have this be direct bolt on for an ls1.

Well I'll be damned, I think you're right.

Also, wherever that pic is from, that doesn't look like gringing on the top. Looks more to me like someone used Microsoft Paint and blacked out SOMETHING there on the top.

Probably a part number. That's pretty cool that the Dorman rep commented that the price point should be cheaper than their 615-900 intake!

The manifold is the same body as our 615-900 Manifold. Fuel rail brackets are included in the kit to accommodate the LS2 Fuel Rail. Instructions will be included for any specific requirements. The part number has been blacked out for the time being until part is released.

This is a quote from the Dorman rep from the link above:

For those that may be wondering , that port and post on the snout is the map sensor location , I do not know if there is a option to locate at the rear of the intake. As for release date I tried to tell you guys that this LS2 was not going to happen in October or even November 1st as mentioned in earlier post ..... but my source says it may still be ready in December but more likely January.

Thanks.
