pulled old engine new one coming soon!!
Get some poly motor mounts if you still have the stock ones, check the transmission mount while the engine is out
If the lower control arm rubber is torn now would be a good time to address that..
Just general maintenance
As far as new engine break in, if it's just a replacement engine and you have the original tune then go ahead and start it up and check for leaks and let it get to operating temp.
Then go out and drive it, throw it in 2nd gear and do 4-5 WOT hits.
After each hit let off it, without using the brakes and let it wind down on its own power which will cause a vacuum and clean and suck any debris out of the the cylinders and piston rings..
Then pop it into 3rd and do another 4-5 WOT hits and let it coast back down just like the above step..
Drive it around in OD and vary RPM's and don't be too easy on it.. Rings should seat within the first 10 minutes or sooner
Might want to do an oil change after the break in period
You don't want to drive on a new engine without a proper tune and run the risk of running rich and washing the cylinders out with fuel
