SLP air lid question!

i have 02 ss, i want to remove my A.I.R pump and buy a slp lid... my question is ,since im removing my air pump, can i just buy the 98-99 slp air lid so i wont need to plug the port on the 01-02 lid??? will the 98-99 lid fit the 01-02 car?

Its the same exact lid, fits all years, one just has a hole. If i remember correctly they even send a plug with the lid.

If they don't send a plug...I plugged the hole by using a firewall grommet i had in a kit from harbor freight and a body plug from the hatch of a parts car and used some weather stripping adhesive to seal it...i think it turned out pretty good and its damn near free

I found a plastic plug at my local Lowes that fit perfectly in my slp box. They have them in the hardware section where they have those stacked, pull out style drawers.
