Default What will I gain?

I will be installing a FAST 92 with a NW 92 TB, as well as 1 7/8 tsp catted headers. How much power can I expect to gain after a dyno? Would it benefit me to upgrade the injectors and fuel system at this time, or should I wait until i do H/C?

you shouldnt need bigger injectors on a SI motor.

im guessing a 30-40 rwhp gain with those upgrades.

Thanks, the injectors are just a possibility down the road if and when I do a H/C upgrade. I just wanted to know if it would be beneficial at this point.

There are actually good reasons to run injectors near maxed out. Fuel system mods do not add power, only support it. If something needs repair then go ahead and upgrade. Otherwise you are just looking to waste money.

Im seriously considering it. Does the cost justify the power gains?

Should I go ahead and get fuel rails while I'm at it? 36lbs should be sufficient for the injectors right?

No real need to upgrade fuel rails. You went the FAST 92mm route, which allows you to use stock rails. The FAST 102mm requires different rails. If you were to upgrade rails anyway, you should have just gone with a FAST 102mm. I also agree you're going to need injectors after adding heads and cam. I would look for 42/44lb/hr injectors. Ford green tops would be a good choice

I just figured it wouldn't hurt anything with the fuel rails, plus they look better. I thought the 102 would be too big on a stock cubed motor, and that most of the power gained was in the upper rpms.

Well I think it's a matter of opinion. Maybe around another 5-10 hp for anywhere from $250-$500...It's really no worse of a value than the just doing the Fast alone for what power you get per dollar when you think about it
