Default LS1 with LS6 intake coolant issues

you have to shave off the ribs on the underside of the manifold if you plan on using the LS1 coolant tube... if not you need to get the LS6 coolant tube

Just remove any rib that's in the way. Better with the LS1 cooling tubes than blocking the rears to use the LS6 parts.

you can use two LS6 pipes and T them together if you don't want to hack the **** out of your intake.

I can never understand why people insist on using the ls1 steam tubes and hacking at their intake? I have never seen or even heard of a problem with blocking off the rears. Not to mention every single ls motor since the ls1 has come with the rears blocked. Block the rear off and save a potential cracked intake

Thanks guys. I have debated tapping the holes not and putting a system in that ties all together. I think it's best to tie all four together like the factory did. I taped the top of the water pump to tie back in. I'll post some pics when I finish to show how it came out.
