Default how to reset LS1 TB screw?

I have an extra throttle body that am porting but the screw has been taken out for some reason. i put the screw back on but how do i set it back to its stock position? i understand that the screw only prevents the blade from binding but does it have to be accurately set?

A quick search suggested that the TPS should read 1-2% to be at it stock position. can anyone confirm? but another thread says to just bolt the screw until it slightly engages the blade. i dont have access to any scanner/reader but i can arrange some if necessary. any input is appreciated, thanks.

I set the screw at 0.53v while car is OFF and the TB blade is out but when i put the blade on it binds hard even when the car is off! am lost. any help is appreciated. should i put the tb on, start the car and adjust? thanks.

EDIT: am reading that 0.625 is acceptable? that would probably solve the issue..someone please confirm.

If its been ported someone may have ported too close where the blade seats. If thats not the case then the blade is probably not centered. Put both screws in the blade and leave them loose. Does this free it up? If so then you just gotta get the blade centered. Just keep gradually tightening screws in the blade while opening and closing the blade until you get it to free up

so the voltage doesnt matter? it isnt ported yet but the half shaft was done and it sticks a little bit i tried to centre it and its a lot better but still kinda sticky "sometimes" that is when high vaccum. what i did was remove the blade, set the secrew so that the voltage was 0.64 and reinstalled the blade and did a tps reset. if slightly tighting the blade screw without setting a code works then my problem is solved! please confirm. thank you!

did it throw a code? or had a slightly higher rpm? i did a search and it says that max voltage at idle should be below 0.65 or it will throw a code..is this true? thanks.

no codes. no high idle. all your doing with the set screw is allowing enough
air to enter, in which the ecm will manage fuel based on that, and match
the requested rpm in the tune.

I understand, but wont raising the voltage alters the TPS % at idle? meaning, if 0% at idle is 0.64v raising the voltage to higher than 0.7v could mean 2 or more % right?

no, because you do a tps relearn after you open the blade
to "x" voltage. the reset puts it back to zero.

at least thats how it works on my ls1 gto.. not sure on a f
body or catfish...
