True duals power gain

Anybody know what the gains are by going from a y pipe with a cutout to a true dual setup is? Particularly on a hci nitrous car.

With cutout closed, you'll see some gains, but with the cutout open, probably nothing to write home about.

Depends on the y pipe. A lot of them are dogshit at the merge and some are 2.5" pipes which is too small as well.

Nice 3" setup with an x pipe is probably worth 10-15hp if you are putting down some power. Duals just sound great and no rasp.

My thoughts were some sort of gains as well, an x pipe is better at scavenging than an H or Y pipe so I'd imagine you'd pick something up no matter what. They do weigh just about twice the amount of a y pipe setup of the same material however(obviously 2 3in pipes will weigh twice as much than 1 of equal length).
