Default LT, ORY, straight exhaust

Anyone running this?? I'm thinking about it. I have long tube headers already just need the ORY and going to let my exhaust shop do the rest 3" all the way will this pretty much be the slp lm1? I have true duals now 2.5" with sweet thunders

I'm running a pretty similar setup. Longtubes, ory, into a 12" bullet dumped. But as for your question having them do 3 straight pipe won't sound exactly like a lm1. Friend of mine had same setup but with actual lm1 catback and it was super loud. Sounded good if you like raspy, raw sound. The lm1 "muffler" imo makes it sound different from a straight pipe. Straight pipe just doesn't have that sound.

O.P. Put a real catback on it with an electric cutout under the pass rear seat. It dosent have to be ear piercing loud to sound bad ***.

My setup in sig with magnaflow catback is stock quiet out the tail pipes and almost open header loud when the cutout is open. Best of both worlds. I had TSP true duals with sweet thunders and that **** got old quick. Take my advice and the next time you the miss and the baby go to Walmart even the baby can get some sleep on the way. I love the way my true duals sound just the rattles inside that get me.

That was my problem with the set I had also. The freakin dash rattling going down the interstate isnt fun after a couple of miles. I started thinking why didnt I just take my truck instead so I can have a peaceful trip. I got tired of avoiding taking trips with the car I built to drive just because of the annoying exhaust I put on it so I ditched that **** and Im glad I did!

May do the straight pipe set up I was talking about and then throw a lm2 or another type of bullet muffler in there

I have the set up mentioned above.. sounds pretty mean but very raspy at certain loads and rpms.. now that I have my ss4000 stall I don't get near as much rasp.. you would think it would be worse with the stall but took it away. Be prepared at WOT that people will hear you a mile away lol.. my only fear is come time for heads and cam I may need to tone it down a touch.

I ran it with heads and a pretty big cam, and let me tell you it sounded like pure crap lol

Lol I can only imagine that lope with the loudmouth.. I was wondering if putting a 2nd bullet style muffler in line would fix that or just completely ditching the whole cat back for something else.. I'm rolling with it until then since it was on my car when I bought it

Adding a good merge helped a decent amout, but when I added the MagnaFlow bullet muffler it took away 90% of the rasp. Still really loud, but a good loud lol

For sure. I do kind of miss the pure rawness of the old setup though. The idle and WOT were awesome, but everything in between was bad, and that's where most time is spent unfortunately lol

You know it's loud when buddies running open headers tell you your car is obnoxious. I'm running my Borla wide open and I can literally be heard over 2 miles away at part throttle getting on interstate.
