02 camaro with dynomax VT?
Hay guys have long story short is I have a one year old lil girl at home that wakes up at the sound of foot steps and I go to work at 4 in the morning an trying to sneak out in my car wakes her up ever time and with having a cam ls1 with 3" y pipe to slp dump
. Yes it's loud! Was thinking about to change up my piping with a 3" inch y then over the axel and have it go into a dynomax VT muffler in the same spot at the stock muffer then hid a 3" or 4" inch tail pipe on the driver side just like a muffex system. Wonder if it would quiet it down a bit? then have a cutout somewhere. Any input would b cool. Thanks guys

I have never ran the VT muffler but I have ran the SLP loudmouth. Just about any muffler will reduce sound compared to the SLP. Plus having it exit out the back and not dump on the ground will help a lot.

i had a Dynomax stainless ultra flow 3" in, dual 2 1/2" out, it was really quiet on startup and idle but seemed to flow really well. Couple that with a cutout for when you want noise and that may be what you need.
in the end, any of the louder free flowing exhausts are probably going to be too loud if she's that sensitive.

Ok cool thanks I'll probably go with something like that then. I found this system on line an ill copy it besides I'll hide the tips with turn downs before the bumper an have the cut out in the same place..
