(Video)Flowmaster Merge: Before and After Put comparison clips together so anyone who was on the fence about the merge could hear for themselves how much of a difference it makes.
My review: Overall, the exhaust tone is much more mellow and sounds "toned". There is a bit of rasp, but the mellowness of the rasp is not enough to annoy and you will only hear it when giving it a lot of gas.
I recommend this mod to anyone with a full exhaust F body.. it also gains a bit of power

Setup:
Just BARELY fit in the Spohn body mounted torque arm.

I have been thinking about doing this myself. I have a Kooks y pipe with a 4" outlet. Might do it and go with a 4" bullet type muffler dumped.

Muffler i believe is 3.5" and all the way to the tips is 3" piping. Used a 4"-3" reducer after the merge.

Yea the dump is about 8-10" behind the slp. I got flicked a week ago so I'll b changing it soon to somthing really quite with E-cutout lol cop didn't like it that he can hear me coming a block away just by me just getting up to speed normally.. when I first got my car is had a 2.5 y pipe to the slp cat back but I took the slp muffler off so it was a stright pipe with slp tips an man I loved it! Crazy choppy idle an sounded like Nascar at WOT lol

Yea the cop let me go to but not after telling me if he catches me again he will write me a $140 ticket lol and the dump sounds good going though the rpms has a lil rasp around 2600 and at 55 isn't bad but at 70 the drone is pretty bad. bad at 70 to the point where it feels like it drops 15 dbs inside the car if u crack the window lol
