Sure did. I coated the ring and the hole in the manifold. Even the o-ring by itself won't fit down into the hole properly.
Yours looks great by the way. Where'd you get the black crossover tube? WS6store?
No. I got all the line and fittings through nsty n8 like 7 years ago. It's what was on my 92 setup. I'm sure I'm going to have to make a new longer crossover for the hardlines to fit under it.
Well, I got a little carried away with the grinder lol. After seeing how thin the metal was after I had enough clearance, I'm not sure I would had trusted it really. I mean you really gotta grind the **** out of it. My heads have been killed from 70cc to 63.5cc so I guess that's why... But now I have a black Meziere street pump on the way. Really freaking hope it clears
Well I had the intake cleared by a good 1/8". But the TB was just touching the water pump towards the front. So I was knocking the front of the pump down and I guess I had got the rear of the pump so thin all it took was the grinding disc just grazing it to puncture... Sucks but it is what it is. I wanted a Meziere anyway lol. Hopefully it'll help me get closer to my goal. If not it'll be pretty at least.

My meziere street pump did NOT clear my 92/92 setup. Had to grind a fair amount off the bottom of throttle body. Not a huge deal but it sucks grinding on your $350 TB lol. My pump, billet neck and arp bolts are actually for sale in the classifieds. I went with their new wp333 which has no idler. It clears the 102 TB by a ton!!!!

Wouldn't be a huge deal grinding on the TB, but yours is black and looks way too nice to grind on. I assume the water pump is black too. Hopefully it fits. You never know until you mock it up.
Well got the pump in earlier. Mocked it up really quick. The intake clears everything good. Ton of room. But the ******* top outlet hose on the pump won't let the throttle body bolt up. I'm getting the NO plate today. I'll see how it looks with it later tonight. But I'm betting I'll be doing some more grinding somewhere. Not this $755 water pump tho....
Damn! I agree with the grinding of the $755 waterpump. Absolutely not grinding on that beauty lol. I didn't need the idler or to have an idler pulley on the water pump any more so I went with their new wp333. Just a note to anyone in the future reading this thread. wp333 is for a setup with just crank to alternator, no accesories but still want heat, no grinding. Big street pump is for accessories, be prepared to grind the throttle body if you have a FAST

How did you get a wp333? I thought they just came out. I couldn't find one anywhere in stock. And does it have ports for heater hoses?
