Frost tune or Dyno tune????
Ok i have everything in my sig done to the car and i'm thinking about getting it tuned finally. Should i go with a mail order tune from Frost or Dyno tune locally. Frost tune is 200$ and a Dyno Tune in my area is 600$...... What i would really like to know is if (with the mods in my sig) i would notice a difference between a Frost mail order tune or a Dyno tune. Money is always a subject for me and i just want to know before i spend 600 bucks on a tune. Thank you for any input.

Thank you for your replies guys. It justifies spending the extra money on the Dyno tune hearing your opinions. I really wish i would have went with a bigger cam but o'well lol.

Good choice getting a dyno tune.
I went mail order way back for my first tune. While the car ran fine, it had issues that left power on the table. A mail order tuner has to assume all things are 100% and that every car responds the same. There were issues that weren't caught because of it. I have since had tuners catch things for me on other cars. Worth the $ to have it tuned live.
There is also the datalog option, but after paying for dyno time you're probably in for the same $.

I woke up this morning with a huge bird poop on my car lol. They say (the chinese i think) that a bird pooping on you is suppose to be good luck. Hopefully i get some at the dyno today. I will post up the dyno sheet when i get home tonight.

Well...... it made 351hp and 362 ft lbs trq. Im actually kinda disappointed with the numbers. I was hoping for 370ish maybe 380hp. 351hp seems low to me but......
Mark Roman was excellent to deal with! very knowledgable and helpful. No complaints at all with the service. Just a little disappointed in my cars performance.
The shifting is a lot firmer, he really tuned up the tranny.
What do you guys think about the numbers? I'll post up the dyno sheet soon. I need to go get dinner for the family then i'll get back on and post up the paperwork.

The tuner didn't mention a problem with fuel delivery or anything. He did say its weird its peaking so low but didn't mention anything else. Should i check fuel pressure or something? He also said the engine was getting blow by? It blew some smoke during the pulls. I've never had a problem with it eating oil and i though all ls cars blow a little exhaust smoke under WOT. It wasn't thick smoke or anything like that.
