Stock sounding weld in muffler?
Stock sounding weld in muffler? Alright so I am getting ideas for making this exhaust over for the turbo mods. Basically.. I have a dmh cutout laying around, might still use it.. I am looking for the quietest, stockish, sounding muffler I can get. I want to replace the circled area by cutting that muffler out.. and welding in a quiet muffler in place.
This way, I can put my cutout back to under the drivers seat when I want loud (and tune it for the cutout open only since it 99% always is open) and then when I am coming home at night I can close it and cruise silently through neighborhood. Shoot me links and if possible videos of mufflers that are ACTUALLY quiet.

Magnaflow isn't bad, but don't feel like spending that much on a catback that will never be used. What muffler can I buy from them that is quiet that I can just throw on the Ipipe before axel?
I've read where folks create a magna-mouth, welding in a round magnaflow muffler in place of the loudmouth muffler. I tried a search here but it didn't bring up any results. Dynamouth is another I've seen.

Verdad Gallardo I got a magnaflow catback. That should be quiet enough. Cutout will be relocated to right where my downpipe comes down. I'll have it tuned for cutout only and just close it when I want to cruise through my neighborhood at 10pm or later at 2000rpms just to get home. Then 99% of the time just have cutout open. lol
