Default Radiator help please

Got a picture here is this pose to be how the rad should be when stone cold?

I'm wondering if it's not ducking from the overflow when it gets cold and it's putting air into the system.

Make any sense?

Also the overflow is at the same level that it was at when hot.

Looks fine to me. Are you overheating or something?

It's fine. Any higher and it will drain into the overflow anyways. When it's cold your radiator coolant level should be right below the overflow nipple and when you pull your overflow cap the coolant should be sitting on the cold marking on the level indicator hanging from the cap.

I have a question though... What is the hose to the right of your radiator cap? It appears to be resting on a sharp looking piece of metal/plastic on the engine side of your radiator.

I'm not talking about the metal line to the left going to the condenser. I'm talking about the large rubber line to the right that looks like a big a** radiator hose. Maybe I'm just having an extended brain fart, but, it's got me stumped! LOL!

Ya I think I had air in it cause I had people replace top and bottom hoses for the rad and I'm pretty sure they didn't purge the air after. I had huge air bubbles in the system.

Least I hope that's what it was...

These cars can sometimes be a pain to bleed out. I try and put mine on an incline when I bleed it to force as much air as possible out on the initial fill up.
