FAST 92mm vs. 102mm??

Default FAST 92mm vs. 102mm??

Having a flat top pistons 408 engine, which will be better, a FAST 92 or a FAST 102??????

The FAST 102mm is going to be better on a 408ci. Many have picked up going from a FAST 92mm to a FAST 102mm on heads/cam 346ci engines. There are more "odds and ends" things you have to purchase with a FAST 102mm intake, as it's not 100% bolt on and go like a FAST 92mm intake is. There are several threads in this section that are very informative. My advice would be to read through them before you make a decision.

For a 408" combination I see no reason to go with the 92mm over the 102mm.

+1, though I've never had a 92. You do see posts from time to time asking if it's "worth" the upgrade from the 92 to the 102.

You ever see the posts that say, "I've got the 102, but I still wonder how it would do with the 92"? Me Neither

They cost basically the same except for having to buy fuel rails for the 102. To me it's a no brainer for the 102. Especially once the engine gets heads and cam, or stroked.
