Looks good, thanks for the link

edit: after looking at this more, wouldn't this bracket only help bring up the passenger side pipe?

THIS^^ I thought the same thing. @ speed engineering do you have install photos of this new bracket? How does this help support both pipes?

Guys as far as I know nobody has done this exhaust with an LT1...I guess that makes me the guinea pig. We will see how it goes. It'll be going in with my new fab 9 when it gets here so if nobody does it before me, I'll post pics and let you know how easy or hard it was.

The two pipes are bolted together before they go over the axle.

Thought about this but I installed my Kooks so long ago, I couldn't remember. I think Kooks is the same design but I'll have to crawl under before I buy the bracket to be sure.

tberg725: Thank you for your business...

Yes, the over the axle section is bolted together. Only one clamp is needed for extra support. Just an FYI its designed to bolt up to the drivers side pipe.

Thanks
Sean

Update for the LT1 guys: this system does not fit with Pacesetters.

Sorry for the bad angle. Basically the x pipe will not line up with one midpipe no matter how you fit it

That's what I plan on doing. It looks like it'll fit the 96-97 style headers, with the DS collector pointing outwards a bit.

SE, is the new hanger included with the true duals? And for those with fitment issues, how worn out are your motor mounts?

Has anyone hooked up the hanger and bracket yet? I can't seem to figure out how to get it on, it doesn't fit on the PS pipe, but it doesn't seem to line up on the DS pipe.

Update on the exhaust on an LT1. It's all up and installed, but clearance is pretty awful on my car. My ride is lowered on some kind of spring, not entirely sure what brand. The over axle bends are pushed into the body, and the tips don't seem to line up as they should. I am not sure if this is the kit or my adjustments to make it fit. I'll be making a trip to an exhaust shop next week to see if they can adjust it up a bit.

Fitment aside, I think this is the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard. It's incredible, I have run a couple different setups, and so far I think this is my favorite sound-wise. It is surprisingly quieter than the 2.5" TD dumps I used to run, but it sounds incredibly clean. I will upload a sound clip soon.

Thanks for this, I have been wondering for my LT1 as well. Ho did you get it connected to the X-pipe? Your last picture shows it not lining up properly. Could you post another picture of the X-pipe connecting to the headers if you dont mind?

I actually had a spare 90* bend lying around, I was able to cut it to size and it bolted right up. Now I seem to be experiencing some severe clearance issues, and I don't know if that's my fitment solution, the car being lowered, or the system itself.
