Awesome! You're still at it! Good news ont he engine too. Glad you'll have something road worthy before too long. That car is far too pretty to just sit there

In for super Vic vs lsxrt. I picked up a super Vic to replace my lsxrt. But after putting on the super Vic I am thinking the lsxrt might be better. Lighter and more plenum.

In a well matched race engines set up, I've been told by a reputable vendor, in some cases the LSXRT will only be 10 hp off a dedicated Sheet metal intake manifold on a 950-1000 hp engine. However in other combinations that are milder and less race orientated the LSXRT may not excel. So it should be interesting to see what the Super Vic flows

I intend to also test the Super Vic on a set of heads with a "wing" in the intake port that was designed for carburetor applications. If time and budget allow, I will dig my old LSXRT out and test it on the winged heads as well.

Full disclosure - on my 91 RS Camaro with the LS1 stroker and a small cam, a ported LS6 90mm intake was better by 2hp in controlled dyno testing than the LSXRT. With a high revving cam, the LSXRT would make more power. My RS was focused on stock driveability etc.

Thanks for taking time to do this. I shift at 7200 (it actually revs to 7400). Its a high reving nitrous build.

We are going to have our biggest test to date!!!

WS6 Store is sending a Dorman, Doan truck and Fast 102 cathedral intake for testing!!!!

Big thank you to WS6 Store and everyone else helping support the testing!

Yes a MSD would round out the testing. Maybe we can round one up for a test one day. The current six intakes s about my my logistics limit for one round of testing.

I suppose I'm going to have to long on with my desktop and tidy up the tread and put all the results on a spread sheet so it's easy to read

In for updates. Thanks to all that have contributed so far! Excited to see how the ported Dorman compares and where the flow increase comes in.
