Throttle Body recommendations?

Throttle Body recommendations?

Hi All,

I have a rebuilt LQ4, as a brief spec. is has an all steel stroked rotating assembly (403ci), ported L92 heads (10.5 CR), MSD coils/ignition and a stock LS3 cam.

I am using a FAST102 intake and am looking for recommendations for what the best make and size of Throttle Body would be use with this build? I will probably change the LS3 cam for something a bit warmer so the TB I use should have a bit of headroom for future increases in power.

What would you guys suggest?

I have used a Nick Williams and a WARR performance. Save yourself some money and get a WARR performance...

Which Warr have you used 92 or 102 mm and does the 102 have a vent tube

I've read very good reports on the Holley 105 but no direct experience.

I have a Holley 105mm thread going now as we speak. A couple of replies. Not many tho....

Thanks guys. Would you suggest going to the full 102mm that the intake will accept or throttle back to say a 90mm?

Yeah I was watching that too. The few that run them say they're great. But like you said. Not a huge following

I would go 102. Just be prepared on the tuning side. Especially return to idle. Probably the trickiest tb is fast 102. Warr, nick Williams both seem better.
