Default Intake manifold question

So im going to want to chage my intake soon sense the ls1 intake is so restrictive now my question is can i buy somthing like a fast intake and just slap it on to what i have? Ive herd some people talk about changing cooling lines or fuel lines to swap the intakes? Just need a little schooling here i already deleted the egr stuff so theres no plumbing there to deal with

With the Fast 102 you'll have to change the fuel rails but with the 92 you won't. It comes with all the necessary hardware when you buy it.

I see you are in MI. Whereabouts are you located?

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/catalog/98-00-ls6-fast-intake-manifold-coolant-pipe-kit/

If you use the FAST92 or even the ls6, youll need this coolant crossover/cap kit

We also have a 90mm intake option that flows between the ls6 and the fast92 but COMPLETE runs the same price as JUST the FAST92. Thats tb, intake, bolts, gaskets, fbody adapter kit. Another good option. reuses your stock fuel rail.

You can also run an LS6 style front coolant crossover and a truck style in the rear instead of blocking them off. There's plenty of debate on the blockoffs, you can do your own research on that, just letting you know the options. Also if you want the rear block offs I have my set I removed and am willing to sell.

Look into the trickflow crossover kit. The LS6 kit will work, but you'll have interference with the throttle flange, which will require bending and molesting the LS6 kit. Ask how I know. The trickflow kit used all flexible lines

The gen4 truck crossovers have the tube that points straight up on pass side which is an option or the c6 vette curves forward from top of the line on driver side, also an option. the gto crossover also points straight forward low profile on driver side and is already used on the ls6 intake combo also.

There are several options in lines. We have front and front&rear kits. For both, the TFS-306SB601 is Nylon Braided. The TFS-306s0601 is Stainless. We also have an inexpensive rubber kit (TFS-30600601).
