He seems to be best from what I hear. Not sure if it's worth $500 but....

Tony Mamo for sure, I would be surprised if anyone else has
Ported 1/2 the FAST Intakes that he has. Heck he has ported
2 for me LOL! My 92 for my SBE LS1, and my FAST LS3 W/
Mid-Length Runners for my Custom 396".
Extremely Pleased with Both!

Mamo for sure. If he is backed up sometimes they are in the classifieds for sale.

Brian Tooley. He's proven time and time again that the best gains come from port matching the intake to the heads.

From conversations I've had with Tony, he's got some 102s ported that are sitting on a shelf, so wait time might not be too long for one.

But I also highly recommend him as well. Very high quality work, definitely worth the 500.

Interesting read, decent gains for what he did as well. Just makes me wonder though if the gains are going to be much less on a stock head/cam 346? If I had the time Id port it myself but more than likely going to end up sending it out

On a LS1 I'd be surprised if you gain more than 7-8 hp from porting. Could be even less depending on the mods and other choke points

It would be going on an LS6 if that makes any difference. My expectations were 5-10 out of the port job

I gained about 5 MPH going with a ported FAST 102 with a 102 MM and 104 lid from the LS6 intake set up. I have heads though

IMO getting it ported is the most important thing. It's a kind of set it and forget kind of mod. You'll always wished you had it done in the end.
