If you lose too much torque you can plastic weld a LS6 snout on. They sell kits at harbor freight.

It's a dream with the heads off. First, put away the plumber hole saw. It's too big. Find a carpenter, and get a door lock saw from him. Then start it on the exhaust side and open the D ring up.


On the intake, try a jigsaw. It fits great.

Air chisel would be quicker I’d think. You knock the rocker boss off with the chisel. Then finish it with a rasp bit on an impact gun
