Who to port Msd intake?

Same engine — fast 102 vs msd both Mamo ported. Below 6400, fast better. Above 6400, msd better. Out of the box, fast is better. Msd needs a lot of material removed. Properly ported, I prefer msd. Esp with larger cam

After looking at that dyno graph im not gonna get the msd. Its not gonna make the most average power where i need it unless i shift at 7500 or so. By then the cam will be way out of its power band. If it made more power from 6000 on up or lower I would be on board with it. Ill see what the fast 102 will do with a cam and maybe in the future look at the msd again or maybe something better will be out. Thanks for the help!!!

Exactly, maybe they will get their heads out of their butts and get it done. When they came out with the one's for the ls3 i thought that they would have them for ls1 and ls7 also.
FWIW I went from 234/242 to 242/248 cam with my already installed Mamo FAST 102 and didn't go any faster, actually a little slower. Then added Mamo MSD and still didn't go any quicker and just a touch more mph. Shift around 7500 on max effort LS1.
I'm gonna switch the cam back and see if it will go quicker. The FAST is hard to beat on most cathedral applications. Altho the MSD does feel stronger revving out it just did not make much of a difference at the track.
BTW I am keeping the MSD for turbocharging next year. It "looks" like it can hand boost a little better than the FAST. We'll see

Here is my question.For the substantial investment in these manifolds,how much ET is in 14 or 20 hp? I would make the move from my LS6 but I would be pretty disappointed if I only picked up .05.
