Some oil sensors were tall and if you disconnect the booster hose and pull the intake the hose would come across the sensor and break it. Just plan on putting one in it and don't worry so much about it. It's good to replace while you're there anyway.
The knock sensor harness has blue connectors. Clips onto PCV hose assembly with half round clip in the pic in the above post it's unclipped and hanging, you can see the blue clips.
Get 3/8" vacuum hose and replace the rubber pieces of the PCV hose assembly, they rot over time and fall apart. On the passenger side where the Y is in the hose you can use 3/8" hose and a 3/8 plastic vacuum T to rebuild the Y part and put all the 3 hoses together.
You have to pull the knock sensors to get the valley cover. The rubber rings in the valve cover need to be replaced. LIGHTLY sand down the knock sensor stands that stand up in the center of the valley to help keep the new seals from tearing as you push the valley cover back over them. The old seals will go to **** when you pull the valley cover. Even if they don't replace them.
When you put it back together silicone around the rubber caps that go over the top of the knock sensors, and silicone around the wire where it goes into the rubber cap. PUT IN A NEW knock sensor harness, it will most likely break when you try to remove it from the sensors, they may break also. If either of them is rusted replace it. When I get them in the shop with codes the bad one is always rusted (from water, that's why you need a new harness it lets water in and it also corrodes the connectors on the harness where they connect to the knock sensor)
Never mess with the dipstick on intake removal, you can but not necessary at all.
