Default Exhaust leak


I installed texas speed long tubes with y pipe and have an exhaust leak on the clamp do I just move clamp over and re tighten ?

That or get a better clamp or just have it welded

Is it leaking where the band ends join under the clamp screw? If so loosen it and rotate the clamp then retighten it GOOD. It might be leaking from the slotted part of the tube, and the clamp gap was right over it.

its leaking right under the screw it is tightened down good so I'll try moving it over and re tightening I just disnt know if it bent from tighting or what

Looking at the pic, I see a gap between the inner and outer tubes right near the clamp screw. Hopefully turning it around solves it but it might not. Welding could end up being the solution here.

Before welding it you could try exhaust sealant. Put it in the pipe notches, then tighten the clamp.

That stuff is like a cement. Makes a mess but at least it can be taken apart if needed.
