What MAF to run with FAST 102/NW 102?
I'm putting together a combo over the winter - BTR Stage 4, TFS 220's, Circle D 5C, etc..
I was thinking that obviously the stock MAF would be a restriction. I see that TSP sells a 100mm MAF. Would that be the best choice for this build?
Thanks

Okay, so if I did choose the SD route, can anyone recommend me a tuner that is well versed in SD tunes for LS cars and that would be accessible to me in Central IL. Chicago, St Louis, Indy, etc... these are all within 3 hours for me.
Also, I know this has been beat to death, but my understanding is that SD does not adjust to weather changes nearly as well as a MAF tune. Here in Central IL the weather changes SUBSTANTIALLY around the year. I guess I'd rather have a spot on tune regardless of the weather.
Thanks

Muhahah, SD is ****. Drives well in all weather, throttle response is better IMO, saves money and opens up the before TB intake path, you'll never know that MAF is gone.

personally after reading a ton of posts i decided SD wasnt for me. from the research i found, SD done 100% dead on will be the same in drivability blah blah as a maf car, but you may gain a hint from less restriction before the throttle body. however, an average speed density tune will not compensate for extreme weather changes, say 95 degrees and 95% humidity. thats where the maf will basically always outshine. i decided that the possibility of a 3-5 rwhp difference (very very generous here) isn't worth my car running optimal in some conditions and not others. SD is unable to adapt to jack ****, thats why the maf is there anyway. im not an expert, but i read enough threads on here about the topic to make my decision.

I think on a street-driven vehicle, for best drivability, MAF is the only way to go. SD is great for racing or weekend fooling around, but limited on the street for every day driving.

Yea the TSP would be fine I actually made one once upon a time.but went speed density and just to throw this in there Dodge vehicles have been speed density for a long time so are the new eco boost mustangs.

any 100mm maf is goona need a decent tuner so keep that in mind. if you can find one with a screen as well. im a fan of always running a maf screen unless you are running the ls7 maf card which was designed to not use one. i haven't done any research on running the ls7 maf, maybe look into that i see it suggested on here a lot
