Default ATI damper removal??

How are you guys removing the damper from the crank hub?? I forgot to make sure the offset hole is lined up with indexed mark on the crank hub. everything went together super smooth I just had a brain fart. Any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks

Edit: just realized this is the internal gen 3 section should be in the external section. sorry

okay cool the ATI tool is the answer then. For now I'm gonna assume I've got mine on in the right spot, the damper did just drop right into place. I put it on with the engine on #1 TDC compression stroke

The orientation wouldn't matter unless you are using the timing marks for tuning?

That's what I'm thinking too. This is the first ATI I've ever had and the first multi piece balancer so I thought it was absolutely critical to have those marks lined up

Any chance you'd let me borrow/rent this? I don't really want to risk damaging by using a general puller that seems to be identical, but I also cant afford the $200 mistake I made of installing a damper that had a spacing I cant use.....

Had some bad experiences with loaning tools so don’t do it anymore, If you are in the UK bring your engine to me and I will remove it for you.
