I have a stock LS1 auto out of a 98 firebird .I'm building a 85 S10 autocross truck to run SCCA cam T ,Looking for advice for the best bolt on combo for low to mid range toque ,we have SSW long tube headers with H pipe,3.73 rear .Unfortunately we didn't make it out this year so looking for some winter upgrades Thanks for the help .

The truck is going to weigh around 3000 when complete so 400 should be fine ,and my elbow I think I,m on my 3 or 4 attempt at a 4'' 90 from summit and jegs I'd want to send it to them and ask for something just like this. That set up was getting the motor started Thank
400 tq rear wheel on a 346 is doable but not a layup. You can either do bolt ons to the extreme or Heads/cam. Heads cam will bias your torque to higher rpm so buyer beware.
Bolt ons extreme would mean headers, intake, EWP, manual steering, rockers, light clutch if it is a stick, ATI underdrive damper.
