Replacing the SLP LM1

Replacing the SLP LM1 Does anyone know of a direct muffler swap that would replace the LM1? I know the LM2 would but i think thats still going to sound like crap. I just completed my HCI and the LM1 is just wayyy too loud and raspy. I'd like to find one to just bolt in place rather than having a shop weld a new one in to save $$.

In for this too, though I don't think there is a direct replacement due to the "muffler" location in that catback. I did a little poking around and didn't find anything, but nothing too in depth.
The SLP PowerFlo conversion for $300 just replaces the rear section of the exhaust. This will sound the best... and quiets it down quite a bit vs the LM II. And a lot compared to the LM.
Years ago, I swapped out the LM1 resonator for a Dynomax bullet muffler. I don't have a part number, but I believe it was 18" long, and if you do some digging on here or some of the other forums you should be able to find it, I know others have done the same swap. It really toned down some of the rasp and drone, but still pretty darn loud. I was able to cut slats in one end so it could be expanded and slip over the original LM pipes, and it held that way for quite a few years. I have since ditched the entire loudmouth setup as I'm too old to put up with that much noise anymore.
Quick note, this is on an LT1, YMMV for sound. But the system is exactly the same.

I'd try the borla, but honestly I'd rather try a tsp cat back or magnaflow before a bullet in the loud mouth again. True duals Is good but they drone a bit...id probably run that tsp cat back next, but the duals aren't going anywhere soon.
