Default Where to tap for mechanical gauges?

Where is a good place to tap for gauges on a 6.0 truck motor?
I'm using an efi kit with coolant temp sensor in drivers side of the block. So where would be a good place for coolant sensor for a mechanical gauge?
I need the best locations for fuel pressure and oil pressure mechanical gauges as well?

There are no coolant temp sensors in the block. They’re in the head (and the heads are identical). And put your oil pressure sender where the stock one was. Why are you using mechanical gauges in the first place? I didn’t even know they still made those things. If you really think it’s gonna be easier to run those bulky tubes instead of a single wire, you are definitely out of your mind.

He's not out of his mind but does like the accuracy and simplicity of manually operated gauges. For a fuel pressure tap, there should be a Schrader valve on the fuel rail - mine is at the front end of the passenger side rail.

So can the Schrader valve be removed and a male NPT adaptor be screwed in for the gauge?

Yes - I have a fuel pressure gauge under my hood on the fuel rail - have to open the hood to check pressure.

You do not want a fuel r
line run into passenger compartment - or passed the firewall!!!

Lots of people do (or used to anyway) the fuel pressure gauge by mounting it in the cowl at the rear of the hood, base of the windshield.

Absolutely right you don't want to run pressurized fuel into the pass cabin!! That, quite literally, is SUICIDE.
