Default LS1 knock sensor relocation braket

After header and poly motor mount install, (on a 99 camaro ls1) during which the knock sensor wiring harness to the main harness got cut, I've been consistently getting the KS codes. I've since restored the harness, but no matter what I do, the codes (332, 327) continue. I've rewired 100k resistors (to mimic the resistance of the KS's) and that didn't help. At this point, I'd rather not pull the intake manifold to get at the original KS's, and came across knock sensor relocation brackets for LS1's that locate the sensors to the side of the engine block. Has anyone here tried them, and if so, how did they work out? I've also seen a bracket that's held in place by an oil pan bolt, as I don't know if I have any threaded holes in the block for these to be mounted (haven't looked since I learned of these brackets). So, wadda ya think?
Thanks

So you relocate the knock sensors and the wiring is going to fix itself?

I have a Gen 4 with a Gen 3 operating system and wish I didn't have to screw with putting the knock sensors down by the pan rail.

Don't want to pull intake to replace existing sensors.

Yep... light weight, no coolant and the intake gaskets clip on making R&R easy.

WTF? I'm asking about the use of these sensor relocation brackets because I don't want to mess with the manifold, so stop talking about it please.

You don't need brackets to relocate knock sensors. You re-tap holes on the side of the block and screw them right in. No issue....

Update on this. As I'm trying to resolve this without too much reconstruction, I've purchased the mounts. Given that I've got longtubes installed and I don't want to have to move them around, I found that there is a location on the driver's side of the engine where a tapped hole exists and one sensor threads directly in. there is another such threaded hole a little further up the engine, but header tubes in the way. One of the brackets I bought has the capability to attach two sensors, so that's what I did, and mounted the bracket with two new delco sensors to the block. Unfortunately, this did NOT solve the problem, so still trying to figure this out.
