Default Ls Terminator x won’t start

Hello everyone. New here to the LS world but not new to hot rodding. I built a 5.3 gen III LS that will eventually be twin turbo’d. Summit turbo pistons (about 9.7:1 compression) H-beam rods with a Texas speed forged crank. Stock refurbished heads. Snake eater SEP1500 cc injectors in an Amazon fabricated intake with 102mm TB. Brian Tooley stage 4 cam. Can’t seem to get it to light off. Have fuel and spark. All lights are reading correct. Checked coil harness colors to make sure they’re on right. Even tried swapping odd and even to the other sides to see if they were mislabeled. Checked timing by using piston stop and finding TDC and putting a pointer on the ATI super damper. Checks good with what was programmed by the terminator. Pulled the intake up and watched the injectors squirt to confirm they’re working. They are. Tried timing up. Timing down. Fuel flow increased. Decreased. Starting fluid. I can make my headers warm but that’s about it. Pop out the pipes and the intake on occasions. I’ve got probably 10 years on my starter already. Lol. Got the grounds on the back of each head. Proper fuel pressure. Im out of ideas. Any suggestions I will try!

If there is one thing that wont make it run at all, is a bad crank sensor, even if it is new, "new doesn't mean good". I would swap it out just to eliminate that possible issue. and of course any loose connections.

Are you getting an RPM signal when cranking?

Are you using the correct CKP for the reluctor you have?

Are you using the internal MAP sensor or one on the intake?

Crank damper isn't marked or even indexed. Timing light would do no good....

The Terminator x has LED’s on the front to tell you if your crank or cam sensors aren’t working. Mine both check ok. Have checked timing by using a piston stop and setting a piece of Tig wire as a makeshift timing mark. Checked all 8 pistons for timing as well as order. All checked ok.

[QUOTE=LilJayV10;20382843]Are you getting an RPM signal when cranking?

I’m using a 3 bar MAP on the intake.

did you go in and change it in the tune? It defaults to the internal sensor stock and has to be changed.
KOEO the MAP should be showing around 100kpa

I read about a guy having issues with the 24 tooth reluctor and the terminator x and having to swap the A and C wires going to the cam sensor. This made me wonder if i were being tricked into thinking I had the proper timing and not being out 360deg. So to test my theory, I changed the firing order from 18726543 to 65431872. FIRED UP IMMEDIATELY!!!!! Thanks for everyone’s help!

Thank you so much for this! I found this thread while going crazy with this same issue, used that firing order and the car fired right up!

How did you change the firing order in terminator x? It only gives me the normal firing order. I have the same exact problem, it pops of a little and won’t fire off 100% if I touch the throttle it won’t do anything but crank. Does that sound like your problem in a nutshell?

You have to change it on a computer in the software. You can't do it on the handheld. That I'm aware of anyway.
