Popping from header/exhaust?

I have a 2000 5.3, ive been having this annoying problem where I get this pop in my exhaust specifically around the header area. It only happens around 2000 rpm’s to about 2700. It’s feels like a hiccup but the truck will drive smooth other than that. It doesn’t happen at idle nor does it throw a code at all. Any thoughts?
Truck is full bolt on cam. Valves were replaced with cam.

will it happen in neutral? if it does you might be able to isolate the issue by pulling the injector wiring connectors or the coil connectors one by one.

Tuning issue. It’s either going crazy rich, or very lean in that area of the powerband. I’d vote rich. Fuel mileage suck?

had my tuner run it for a week and nothing comes up says it could be a lack of spark?

It happens only under acceleration, Im pulling my plugs to see if they have too much carbon deposit maybe? The only thing I’ve heard it could be is unburnt fuel that’s falling into the exhaust and exploding with a hot header causing a pop sound.

Detonation is when fuel is being ignited before TDC and it will hurt your bearings and so on. Do you have a tune done and what fuel octane was it done on and what fuel are you running in it?
