a bullet in the I pipe definately willc ut down on most of it. Might still have a little around 2k rpms, but it will definately be muffled to a point that its tolerable.

Good Luck!

A pair of bullets in the ypipe would do a better job reducing rasp. dynomax bullets are the ones people use. Magnaflow makes bullets but they only go up to 2.25" internally.

Dynomax bullets are the only way to go. They make them up to 4" I think and are straight through, and very compact, and cheap.

A pair of bullets in the ypipe will do a better job of reducing rasp. Im not sure how practical it is with the hooker ory.

Man, i have a bud that has macs with an ofy with the hooker setup in the back, and it had no rasp at all. But, throw some bullets in there, maybe find a 8 inch bullet. I would go with either two from the headers, or two where they put the loudmouth muffler in.

Screw a bullet....

The key to killing rasp on these cars is in the COLLECTOR. Most people do not realize this, but when running a smaller collector on these cars you will get more rasp.

Get yourself a Flowmaster 3.5 inch collector to be welded onto your Y-pipe, and not only will the catback sound deeper, but 99% of the rasp will be gone..

I am having the same problem with rasp on my hooker ORY might get the flowmaster collecter with the bullet to add to my already installed Magnaflow cat back....Hmmm
