Pacesetter Install Problem

Pacesetter Install Problem
The install has been relatively easy just a little time consuming. We got the headers bolted on and the egr dont line up with the egr flange on the drivers side header. I have not checked the passenger side yet. We are planning on cutting the cars egr and rewelding it to line up with the egr header flange. Was this a factory screw up or something I just dont know. I have a 98 trans am. Please give me some input.

i had the same problem, i just bent the egr tubes, they bend easy, for them to line up, pacesetter put the egr ports on the top for easy access, they didnt consider to check to see if they would line up

A week after I installed my pacesetters, I ripped off all the AIR and EGR crap. I should have just ordered the no emissions headers but oh well. Just delete it. you'll be happy you did once you see how much crap comes out. There's a good how to if you search.
