I have the Magnaflow (piece of ****) with headers and cats. It is loud, but sounds cool. it should flow better than the Flowmaster, but I would get something better. (GMMG, B&B, Corsa) you get what you pay for.

I have Grot 1 7/8" LTs, no cats and the Magnaflow.

The sound is awesome at all rpm's, its nice and quiet at cruise, it sounds great at idle and it seems to be a high quality muffler

Another Magnaflow fan here. It does sound great all around. Being a piece of ****? I don't see that.

I have he Magnaflow, LT's, no cats. Awesome, but I found out it sounded even better when I got most of it welded up and only used the clamps where the y-pipe meets the headers (slip clamps with RTV) and I believe the clamp right before it goes over the axle. This is so I can take it apart if needed. Welding the rest of the joints and welding the valve spring between the drivers side floorboard and y-pipe made the sound much more solid with less mechanical noise/rasp.

I plan on doing this after I get my LTs and ORY on. Thanks for the advice.

I have the magnaflow catback and LTs with ORY. I love the sound. It's fairly quiet with normal driving but WOT it's loud.

I also have the Magnaflow, FLP LTs w/ OR pipes installed, and have a TR224-114 cam. It's got a freaking awesome burble at idle, and sounds like armageddon at WOT (in a good way ). My only complaint is that at part throttle around 2k-2.2k RPM, the exhaust drones real bad. Very annoying until you get used to it... Besides that minor annoyance though, I couldn't be happier.

Oh, and Davered00ss, I think you must've just got a defective muffler. I've had mine on my Z28 for 4 years now, and one on my Jeep for about 3 years. I haven't had a single reason to regret buying them. If you just got yours recently, try having it replaced under warranty. The Magnaflow is a darned good muffler.

(GMMG, B&B, Corsa) you get what you pay for.
That is not necessarily true when it comes to car parts, esepcially aftermarket. My cheap 270 dollar Hooker catback outflows 99% of the catbacks on the market, and Flows better than Corsa for 400 bucks less.

Magnaflow, Hooker, and Dynamax Ultraflow mufflers are by far the best flowing and cheapest mufflers on the market....

To be fair, it only drones when I have the test pipes installed. Running thru the cats, there is no drone in the least. <shrug> In any case, "complain" is probably the wrong word. It just takes getting used to.

I have a small clip of a rev or two. I have a bigger soundclip of me driving away and punching it. It's too big for me to send in an email. If you have AIM i could send it to you that way.

Let me know.

B&B is one of the worst flowing exhausts on the market! Almost as bad as a flowmaster!

I have the stainless 3.5 inch race magnaflow and picked up over 2 mph through closed exhaust vs a dynomax ultraflow 3 inch through closed exhaust. I also added Cats when I added the magnaflow
