What procedure did you use for tightening the bolt and was a new bolt used?

Tighten it to 240 ft. lbs. or until it is completely seated on the crank snout. Afterwards, REMOVE THE STOCK BOLT and replace it with the NEW CRANK BOLT. You will tighten the NEW bolt to 37 ft. lbs. and then turn it an additional 120 degrees. Still, you wouldn't think it would spin on the crankshaft though. That blows.

Same thing happened to me with my ASP pulley,, Mine was tightened with an arp bolt though and was on a forged callies crank so maybe the diameter was just a hair different than the stock one??? What initially clued me in was low alt voltage, I actually replaced the alternator before I realized that the damn crank pulley was spinning on the snout, I removed the pulley and bolt with my bare hands and no tools lol. After that I put in a key and an ATI pulley just incase.

Let me know how it goes with your talks to ASP, I would love to be able to get a replacement for my pulley at least so I could sell it.
